I had such a great time at this wedding back in early August. The weather was very humid, hot with some crazy rain that luckily for the Bride and Groom came after the outdoor ceremony.
I first met Dawn about a year ago and then a couple of months after that she had asked me to photograph her wedding. Both Dawn and Mike are very good friends with my boyfriends sister, so it just felt great to be a part of the wedding celebration!
Having hung out with Dawn and Mike for New Years Eve and then a fun snowmobiling trip in Vermont in February, I knew that the wedding was going to be fun and easy going. They are so cute and sweet and I love their taste in music. For their reception introduction they had the song “light my fire” by The Doors which in turn makes them awesome! 🙂
I must admit that the venue that they choose (St.Clements Castle) had me thinking about my own wedding day…just a thought hehe. The venue was beautiful, food was great and of course music was fun. They had a photobooth set up too, that I took advantage of with my assistant Maribel. It was just a wonderful day and I was happy to spend it with them.
Thank you to Dawn and Mike for working with me. Despite the day being crazy with the heat and rain, you guys just made the day fly by and enjoyable. I’m wishing you all the best in your happy lives together! I’ll be seeing you again I hope for our next winter trip where I’ll try not to fall off the snowmobile 🙂 Another special Thank You to Maribel and being my sub “assistant” since Chris had to be somewhere else that day. He missed out on a good time 😉
