Martina’s Communion

In early  May, I went to photograph little Martina on the day of her communion. I had taken maternity photos of her sister Victoria a couple of months ago, and was happy to see her and her husband Stephen again as they were there for Martina . They really are wonderful people to work with, and Martina was especially radiant.

Signature photos of Martina were taken on her mother’s bed, to resemble portraits of her older sisters from their wedding days. Seeing as how the room was about to be entirely remodeled, Martina’s mother did not want Martina to be the only sister without a picture on the bed!

Martina had plenty of  ideas for poses which made the session fun. She was the perfect mini model and made me so happy to be photographing her. I hope to see her again, maybe when I take baby portraits of her new niece Victoria (Happy to let you know that Victoria and Stephen had a baby girl-I was secretly rooting for a girl!)

You have done an amazing job as a mother and raising such wonderful people like Victoria and Martina.  It was really great meeting your other children and your husband.  Everyone was just so kind and sweet.  My last thank you is to Martina for being such a wonderful little lady. I hope to have a daughter like you one day. Congratulations on your Communion.
