Adam & Katelyn’s Wedding

In a  few words, this April wedding I photographed was simply beautiful and wonderful.  It seemed like just yesterday I was photographing their engagement session at Highline Park in New York City. It seems that every time I’m with them the sun is always shining.
Starting off with Katelyn, the lovely bride to be, I cannot tell you how happy I was in seeing her excitement.  While taking her photos as she read a card from her future husband, we both fought back tears as she read her favorite line aloud, and I was happy to be able to provide a tissue to make sure her fab make-up wasn’t ruined.  I do have a tendency to get emotional when I see how happy people are.
When the ceremony began, more tears were restrained at the sight of the groom Adam, with loving eyes, as he watched his bride come down the aisle. Such a wonderful moment!  The ceremony was held in a lovely church in Scarsdale, followed by a reception at Tarrytown House Estate (a venue I personally wouldn’t mind booking for my own wedding someday).
With that said, here are a “few” (and by few I mean several) of my favorite shots from that day.  Looking at these photos gives me such a smile and grateful heart to have shared with Katelyn and Adam something so special. A million thanks to Adam and Katelyn for being the coolest, sweetest and most wonderful people!  Wishing you all the best luck for your future ahead. 🙂
As always, another special thank you to Adrian, my awesome assistant shooter and friend.  You are already missed!! I’m thankful that out of the possible weddings that could’ve been your last to shoot, this was the one. Wishing you good luck on your next “venture.”
