Monica and Nikolai Engagement Session

This engagement session was a year in the making.  Monica had contacted me over a year ago to try and schedule a day for us to do an engagement session.  After many emails we finally booked a day in April.  The time was worth the wait and we had a wonderful time strolling through Central Park.

No matter how many times I go to Central Park, it always feels like the first time for me.  I always get lost, but Monica and Nikolai didn’t seem to mind as we enjoyed the beautiful and bright sunny day.  Lots of people were out enjoying the day, especially since the weather had been so crazy in the past couple of weeks (and its still crazy! Where is spring?!!)

Spring for that day, was in full bloom for us.  We had fun getting lost (Monica was a trooper in her high heels) and finding some great places to take pictures.  One of my faves was finding a kid hiding in a tree spying on us…he was a bit nerdy and a bit cool.  You’ll see him and a lot of my other favorite photographs from that day.

A million thanks to Nikolai and Monica for being so fun and sweet.  I had a great time and am happy we finally got to work together.  I hope that if you decide to have a mini ceremony here in the states, that I get to be there for you two.  Have a wonderful wedding in Manilla! So excited for you both! 🙂
