I always find it an honor to be chosen to capture someones special wedding day. It truly is something that I love to do and be a part of. You can imagine my joy when I was asked by a friend to be her photographer.
So for this wedding I was doing double duty – Photographer and Guest. I enjoyed every moment of this wedding day. First was the Indian ceremony, with so many special and important rituals. Niralee handed out a guide so that guest could understand what was going on. This was fun to capture because it was so different then what I’m used to photographing. (my feet were happy too because I got to photograph barefoot)
Second ceremony was traditional and full of love. Family and friends gathered around again to celebrate Chris and Niralee’s special day. I felt like the day flew by and it was a great honor to be there for all of it!
A million thanks to Niralee and Chris! I had such a fun time and was so happy to be there not only as a photographer, but as a guest where I could boogie woogie and enjoy some time with my plus one. I have to say a special thank you to my boyfriend Chris for getting me a room at the hotel, so I could rest up between ceremonies. ( I was fighting the stomach flu that weekend!) I’m grateful that you took care of me and helped me get through the day. I’m so very lucky to have you in my life 🙂
