I never really know how to start these…but I will start off saying that this was one of my favorite weddings to photograph. I had such a wonderful time with my assistant that the time literally flew by. Working with Melissa and Marc on this wedding was really a pleasure. They are such a sweet and fun couple. Their taste in music is superb and their family and friends were fun to photograph.
I don’t normally get emotional photographing a wedding. I tend to block out those feelings when I’m on the job. For this wedding, I was caught off guard when I heard some classic Beatles music playing beautifuly from the piano during the ceremony. Anyone who knows me or has taken a look at my website can see my little tribute to The Beatles on my website. Melissa and her family were able to see how fanatical I am for The Beatles. When the song “Something” started playing I started to smile, then the song “In My Life” started to play I started to sing (in my head). Then I remember having to fight back the tears when the song “And I Love Her” started playing (one of my all time favorites) I was hiding behind my camera so that no one could see my teary eyes. My assistant later on had a good laugh when I told him how choked up I got.
I truly enjoyed myself at this wedding. I hope that comes across in the photographs I chose to share on my blog. These are a few, well more than a few, Im sharing on this blog (the photos are in the most random order…still trying to figure out that kink in the blog) To see more please check out my Fanpage on Facebook.
A special thanks to Adrian for doing yet again another great job assisting me. I love having you by my side and being that extra set of awesome eyes! A special thanks to the Brides brother Chris for finding me and getting me this awesome gig. Another special Thanks to Melissa for being so patient about seeing these photos and for giving me some wonderful ideas for my own wedding. I hope these photos make you smile.
